Both psychologists and psychiatrist's believe in the power of counseling in solving life's problems. Psychiatrist's have earned a medical degree with resident training in psychiatry. They are able to prescribe medication and perform medical procedures such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). A psychologist, on the other hand, has a doctorate degree in the study of human behavior. More specifically how { }. A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or LCPC is a master's level psychologist trained in the art of counseling and psychotherapy. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) has a master's in clinical social work and psychotherapy. The emphasis in social and interpersonal relationship is the area of concern.
BHP and it's staff are solution oriented. We use the professional therapy choice and focus of treatment that best addresses the difficulties you face. We also are collaboration focused in working through the problem areas you are struggling with. This means that we are interested in partnering those in your family and community that have the resources to accomplish the goals of problem solution. This may include you partner, parent, family, church, physician, a psychiatrist, school, judicial or community member that you agree will be helpful. Most of all we are interested in partnering with you to get your life back on course and get through the difficult challenges you face. BHP has worked with the medical community with many of our mutual clients and have established relationships that can help patients when prescriptions become necessary. |

BHP will work with your insurance for you, including submission of claims. We are paneled with many major insurance including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Behavioral Health, CIGNA, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, and Magellan Health Care, Inc.

After calling BHP and scheduling an appointment you will have to fill out our patient intake forms. These forms can be filled out when you show up for your appointment or by visiting our forms page.
* Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the agreed upon session time will be subject to a
$50
fee, and a $60 no call/show fee will be applied to one's account if no notice is given before missing an appointment. |

Appointments are the traditional fifty hour, which means the last ten minutes are reserved for notes and preparing for the next client. Psychological testing, takes longer than the traditional hourly session In these cases multiple appointments may have to be made. |
